Background: My dad is a pilot; he's been flying drones for 10 years, RC helicopters before that, but never anything FPV.

I am watching testimonials from FPV drone racing pilots and they speak to an exhilaration that I want for my dad. I am looking mostly at complete setups, unless I am convinced of a simple parts list I can order and ship to him.

I am considering the Parrot Disco Adventurer, but it has some questionable reviews, and I think he would want to do loops and rolls. The $1000 price range is fine though.

Is there something in this price range that can give my dad the thrill of flight, but without expecting him to spend hours cobbling it together? He's not going to get competitive, but I still want him to get the thrill of speed and agility while wearing goggles.
