Any way to upgrade a Tinyhawk 2 FS to ELRS?

I am...less than impressed with the video range of my TH2 with FrSky. I've been looking into getting a new controller that can do sims (the included Emax doesn't work with sims) and decided on a LiteRadio 3 Radio Transmitter which works with FrSky and ELRS.

Would it be terribly difficult to upgrade my TH2 to ELRS or should I just buy a new drone? I'm not really confident enough to build my own from scratch since I'm still beginning, but it'd be nice to keep using most of the equipment I still have.

Or any other solutions? My biggest goal is to get a transmitter I can use with sims as well as my drone to practice and stop using my xbox controller...
