The sparring match with Jack Barlowe kinda screws with my head. In all the 'live and die by the Codex' nonsense there's nothing on breaking rules while sparring? (Granted this might would apply to V and the poison but it's not as in your face as Jack's) They were told to have a clean match. No powers and no throwing blades and he breaks both rules. The professor and Sawyer? can't even pull him off Violet. It blows my mind that this would happen with no consequence. Yes, she doses him with oranges but he broke the rules first and hard and ignored the professor when he said stop. I can't see how that type of behavior is allowed. What do yall think?

AND the professor was watching and didn't notice the red rings on his eyes? I don't think V knew what that meant yet but surely the professor was read in on venin? Right??
