Some issue on a converter for my Pilot Metro

I've been gifted this amazing pen but I struggle to find a suitable converter. I've had the Online one on the right, it fitted somehow but would get off. So I searched and bought the Con-40 but this is even worse because it doesn't fit/click/stay attached to the pen. It just gets off every time. So I've put in a cartridge and it got right inside. Does anyone else have the same issue and what have you done to solve this? I want to use my bottled inks!
