I'm pretty new to fountain pens, and decided to bite the bullet on a nice Monteverde Ritma from Goulet, since the sub highly recommended the retailer.
Placed the order, got my shipping notification later and saw that the address was to my old apartment in a different part of the state (probably due to the Affirm/Shop pay method I used). Not a big deal, I've worked for a warehouse before and I know they can just change the label before it ships.
So I contact customer service (Within ~10mins of the shipping label being created), explain the issue, and I'm told that they can't do anything about it, just that I have to wait for the package to be returned, which can take an undeterminable amount of time.
Today, the package is out for delivery at my old address too, so my mail forwarding doesn't kick in apparently. I contact Customer Service again, get the same response of 'Nope, we can't do anything. Just wait for it to be returned whenever'. And I can't even just place another order because they're out of stock for that particular nub/pen.
I'm not usually one for whining to the internet, but I've worked in a large warehouse with USPS shipping and I know that Goulet could have changed the label (and billed me for the difference), or put a return call on the package before it got to the wrong destination Now I'm just SOL I guess.
EDIT: Today I got another email from a different CS person, who will be able to refund me within seven day's if it can't get sent back. It's a solution, at least, and I'm mostly satisfied.
