Hello there!

I'm a fountain pen user since elementary school and started diving deep down the rabbit hole at university, when I also started to play around with dip pens and calligraphy (before I did not have the money lol). I absolutely adore fine nibs (don't really use EF though as they are often scratchy (or at least Lamy EFs are for me)) and love flex nibs.

For flex: I have a Noodler's Konrad but I doesn't really feel right with me, I stick with dip pens for big flex (Brause EF66) and I found that I quite like my Pineider for a little everyday writing with added flair by a little flex.

However, I have been eyeing japanese fountain pens for quite some time now. I actually tried a Pilot Justus and a Pilot Falcon but they did not feel right with me and I was a bit underwhelmed by their flex and went for the Pineider (which is so super soft omg). I am interested in the Sailors for an F nib or something and Pilot for the FA nib or also an F nib, Platinum comes to my mind as well. I liked the feel of the Justus and the Falcon weight wise, the nib just did not do it for me (I really don't like my Metro at all but that might also be because you don't find a fitting converter anywhere around here and I just had it).

Any advice on Japanese pens with F nibs or Flex nibs? What to expect, what to be aware of?

Thanks so much guys!
