So, got a pen I've been wanting for a while. TWSBI Diamond 580al Rose with a 1.1mm stub nib. It's a beautiful pen, feels good in the hand, writes beautifully... When I can get the damned ink to flow.
I've tried four different inks in it (two from Noodler's, one Iroshizuku and one J. Herbin). Always the same issue. I put nib to paper and get no ink. Sometimes, if I start the flow by putting the tip on a paper towel it'll write. Sometimes. Other times, it writes for a word or three before stopping. Sometimes it picks back up, sometimes it doesn't. And then, sometimes it writes liek a dream.
I'll be honest, I've got nothing. I bought a beautiful pen and it's driving me mad not being able to use it properly. Any ideas to help me?
