Is it my pen or my ink?
Post Body

So, I just got my first pen and ink samples the other day. The pen is a TWSBI 580 with a broad nib. After flushing the pen a few times with warm water (as I've seen suggested on here a few times) I inked it up with Pelikan Edelstein "Jade". I've started journaling recently, so I decided to go ahead and try out my new pen and I noticed that it kept skipping letters as it the nib had dried up. Does anyone have experience with this pen/ ink that could spare some insight?
