Well, sadly, we’ve reached the end of Advent(s). Our final ink is a rich, luscious, royal purple and it’s just gorgeous. So well-behaved in my Pilot Parallel and the color goes on the paper just beautifully. It works so well with the gold accents. Let’s Raise a Glass to a wonderful holiday and a fun Inkvent 2023.
I ran out of wine since the wine calendar ended yesterday, so I’ve switched to a festive homemade cocktail: vodka, cointreau, cranberry juice and lime. (Look at all the “dead soldiers” from the 24 days of wine!) My favorite labels from all the bottles are the ones in the front row. Our chocolate of the day has a super cute snowman motif on the top and was filled with chocolately creamy goodness, of course. And day 25 of Stickii is perfect—love it—it fits in with the cat theme of the envelopes. Our puzzle is done and I’ll be disassembling it tomorrow and starting a new one, but the new one for sure isn’t going to take me 24 days! Still working on my crochet project from week 4 of the Hobbii calendar.
I’ve ended Inkvent with one of my favorite pens in my collection and one that just seems to speak to the season… making-e featuring pine needles and frosty weather—The Namiki Yukari Matsuba. This was a treat to myself during the holidays last year. It’s the most elegant pen I’ve ever held in my hands and I just can’t get enough of looking at it. It writes as beautifully as it looks.
Our last day! I hope you all have had as much fun following along as I have had making these posts. I’ve come to look forward to Inkvent every year and I hope we’ll have another good one in 2024. Happy Holidays to you all—peace and blessings for the new year!
