Well, we’re finished with the wine calendar, the jigsaw puzzle calendar, and the crochet calendar, each of which either had 24 parts or 4 weeks. I have one more day on the chocolate and the ink. The wine calendar finished up with a bang… it was a DELICIOUS sweet white wine and boy my glass was gone in a hurry. Fortunately tonight we have homemade eggnog and mulled wine, so I’ll finish out the evening with that. The chocolate today was very similar to a Crunch bar… really good.

I’m in LOVE with Sugar Snap! It’s a bright sunny green ever so slightly on the olive side, has nice shading, and a beautiful complimentary shimmer. It looks great with the gold accents. This is one I might buy in a full bottle. My pen today is the Namiki Nippon Art in the Flower Basket version. I got this nearly perfect mint specimen on Ebay for less than the price of an 823… what a steal. It’s a very nicely done maki-e design and has a typical perfect Namiki gold nib…. Writes beautifully, like butter. It was a very happy addition to my collection.
