I love this color. Of course, I have to love it because it’s red, but it’s just such a nice slightly pinkish red AND with a delightful shimmer. A very solid Christmas red, and it fits perfectly with the season.

Today’s wine is a sweetish, delicious syrah/cabernet blend and it’s one of my favorites out of the whole box. Red is doing very well today indeed! The chocolate is the most luscious lemon cream and I need another one. Our pen for today is the Pilot Custom 743… which is kind of the cartridge/converter version of the 823. One nice thing about the 743 is that you can get it in practically every nib that Pilot makes… the usual ones and then some unusual ones like waverly, posting, falcon, etc. As much as I love my 823, I actually prefer the 743 because I get bored of ink colors quickly, and the converter allows me to change them easily and rinse the pen out without too much trouble. It’s got the same buttery writing experience as the 823.

Interesting yet strange Stickii today. And I’ve only got two boxes of pieces left on the jigsaw puzzle!
