I think this is a really great purple. It’s somewhat on the pinker side, actually kind of like a dark lilac, and has a nice shimmer to it. It’s one of the better colors in this calendar.

Tonight’s pen would have been great with Astral, yesterday’s ink! This is the Starry Night Sailor PGS. Not available in the USA so this one was ordered directly from amazon.jp. Sailors are not my favorite, but astronomy is, so picking this pen was kind of a no-brainer. I think it’s really gorgeous and I actually like it better than the Ancora store exclusive gold version. For tonight’s wine, we have a lovely, sweet, pinot blanc. And wow, this chocolate is actually english toffee and it was A. MA. ZING. I need another piece! Another good Stickii page and our puzzle is so close to being done now.

Here in the USA, tomorrow is the “observed” Christmas Eve holiday (for businesses) so many people have it off work. And with Christmas Day being on a Monday, we have a wonderful, relaxing four-day weekend ahead of us. What are you all doing with your holiday? Tomorrow, I’m finishing wrapping my nifty little gifties and then if I have time, I’m going to make sugar cookies. I don’t often make sweets, but this time of year it just seems like a warm, comforting thing to do. On Sunday our family opens gifts. The whole family will be here, at least those of us who are local. And on Christmas Day, we will be alone and plan to do nothing at all. Sometimes doing absolutely nothing is the absolute best thing you can do for yourself. :)
