I love Astral! Space-related name? Check. Shimmer? Check. Well-behaved? Check. Nice color? Check. This one’s a goodie. It has a bit of a more bluish base than shows in this image. It was really fun to do calligraphy with and the ink laid down really nicely from my Parallel pen.

I have a space-related Pilot here, named the Stella! I think in the US it was also known as the Stargazer if I’m not mistaken. It’s no longer in production, but I found this NOS on Ebay last year. It comes in a few different colors but of course I love red so I had to find one of those. It’s a smallish pen… tiny like a Sailor PGS, maybe even a little smaller. It has a gold nib. This particular one isn’t my favorite writer… I had to tune it a bit with some micro mesh, which in my experience is a little unusual for a Pilot.

The wine for today is a delicious, slightly sweet red blend from Italy. It’s tasty, as is the chocolate! I also REALLY like the color scheme in the Stickii page today. And our puzzle just has four spaces left….
