So I think today’s ink is a LOT like day eleven. Maybe just a little dustier or smokier, but still an icy blue with an icy shimmer. I do love it, though. It’s the time of year for icy, wintery, snowy inks! I can’t decide if I like today’s or day 11 better.

We have a bit of a dry rosé today. Fruity and tasty, but dry. We had a friend drop by with homemade fresh cranberry paté and a loaf of freshly baked bread earlier today and we sat around the table and drank beers and chatted. This wine would have been perfect with that, too bad we didn’t open it sooner! The chocolate is a bit deceiving… it looks for all the world like it’s going to taste like a peppermint patty but the mint taste is very subtle. As for today’s pen… I have a Pelikan New Classic P381 in Vintara Green. As far as I know these pens were produced for a short while in the early ‘90s. There are several colors that were produced and it’s got a nice 14k nib. I bought it as new old stock about 15 years ago and you can still occasionally run across one of these on Ebay. It’s a thin pen though, only for those who like very slim barrels.

The Stickii is cute today! And I’m done with the third row of the puzzle, which means only six more days, folks. And then it’s Christmas Day!

I finished Week 3 of the crochet advent calendar tonight. Here’s the whole set, the beanie from Week 1 and the fingerless gloves from week 3. It makes a very cute set, in soft merino wool to keep you warm on those blizzardy winter days! (And YES I did the ribbing wrong on the beanie but I’m still happy how it turned out and how it fits) 😜
