There are two wine pictures today because I was deep into hosting a big dinner party yesterday and forgot Day 2’s wine when I posted Advent Calendar Madness. So the first wine pic is Day 2, and the second is Day 3. Phew. Now that I’ve got that out of the way…. I don’t generally like blues but Inkvent Day 3 is super nice. It’s the perfect blue to pair with the gold accents. Our wine today is a nice Merlot and quite a bit better than the box Merlot I’m used to (yeah, sell it cheap and drink it deep, ha). The chocolate is a delicious caramel that you can just tell is made with real butter and cream. My crochet advent STILL has not arrived yet (I’m looking at YOU, Hobbii) so I’ve picked a random pen out of my collection: the Platinum 3776 in pink Sakura celluloid. The Stickii advent is pretty danged awesome. Not as cool as Day 1’s oh-so-cool cats, but pretty compelling in its own way. And my puzzle is coming together nicely—I’m starting to think that all 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles should come in advent form—each box is small and very doable in just a few minutes each day, and I’m forced to stop after finishing the box, otherwise I’d just keep puzzling until the danged thing is done even if it was a 24 hour marathon to do it.
