pilot cartridge VS Schmitt convertor dimensions

Hello everyone, I have a quick question re pilot cartridge VS Schmitt convertor. I'm trying to find a pen that will take my pilot nib (using a flexible nib factory plastic bit) but the bigger issue is that the con70 is too big, so I'm thinking to just refill pilot cartridges instead. My theory is if a pen can take a Schmitt convertor then it should be able to take a pilot cartridge right? In terms of dimensions the pilot cartridge looks smaller than the Schmitt convertor in pics, but I wanted to ask if anyone had both to do a bit of a size comparison for me. Thanks
