Is this an ammonite/ammonite impression or just a look-alike?

My grandparent bought a house a few years ago and I’ve been helping clean out various the garden beds.. the previous owner had several interesting large rocks and fossils, primarily limestone, sandstone and shale from the Kansas/Missouri area. The shape is suspiciously like an ammonite or impression from an ammonite , but it’s obviously not super clear and I am not a smart enough rockhound to know lol. Forgot to take a scale photo, hopefully the mulch helps but it’s like 13-15” x 9-11”
