Can anyone identify this fossil please?
Post Body
Does anyone know what kind of fossil this is of? I’m assuming a fish. I found it tonight at work. I can’t tell you what level of rock it came from but we dig down to 380’ in Southern Indiana.

What’s the best way to preserve this so it does not fall apart from exposer?
That’s pretty cool! Thank you and I will!

Thank you! I just found on Google some images that looked similar to mine. We’re mining bituminous coal at different levels but our lowest level is around 380’. This was so cool to find tonight!
