I'm in the process of getting hardware together and printer settings correct to make a MacDaddy 2.0, and I'm wanting to put a Sauerkraut brace on it. I have seen the angled-to-vertical rail adaptor included in the download, but was hoping to keep the overall length down and reduce an additional part and potential point of failure. I've seen at least one remix where someone straightened the rear rail before printing. Has anyone else done this, and/or how hard is it to do in one of the free 3d modeling programs? I have some past experience with CAD/modeling, so learning a new program doesn't bother me.
