So I haven't played Forza in a competitive (or really at all) since 3. I bought 7 and played some single player stuff but I had no time nor motivation to continue. Now that life has deemed me worthless, I'd like to get back into it. I have the Gamepass PC version and would like to know what packs are pretty essential to be able to have a chance to play competitively be it in a lobby or a laptime? Should I bother with VIP? Do I get every single little DLC they released?
Thanks for reading yoh!
Is there still some pride, or whatever, to be had making custom tunes? I remember spending way, way too much time adjust various things so much. For those thousandths of a second, we're taking point by point then run then another point adjustment. It always paid off though. Samey same with this game?
I didn't expect these replies! Wow, I love it. I can't shake my prior experience with multiplayer and having each class be absolutely dominated by a handful of cars. Sometimes only a couple. Sure, I can't expect to put up some nice numbers in S class with a AM Hummer with no conversions. But love that I don't have to have a damn near cookie cutter build of an Audi S5 in A class in order to get somewhere.
All that being said, I guess now I will just grab the DLC that has cars I'd actually care to drive, lol.
Really appreciate the input everyone!

Those skills did not follow me into getting old.
