Have the Devs given any updates on optimization fixes for the future? Because this is a mess on PC still

Between the god awful smoke textures, horrendous pop-in, constant micro stutters, and some of the ugliest looks grain or lines (assuming this is anti-aliasing) It's become really hard to even want to hop on to play this on PC. This is my first Forza game and I'm enjoying the gameplay a lot but it's getting increasingly frustrating dealing with such poor optimization that doesn't seem to change no matter what I do.
