Haven’t played FH4 much since it came out, looking to get back into it. Can someone ELI5 the gameplay changes made?

Think the last time I played was eliminator. I can’t even remember the launch of FH4 and if Forzathon was a thing already, but if it was I never understood it lol. I think that’s the main thing I need help with, how exactly does Forzathon work and what is it. Also things like Horizon Backstage. Just would like a quick rundown on a couple aspects if anybody could spare the time to :)
