Anyone interested in a 1 year old Calico cat?
Post Body

Hi all. Unfortunately, we’re looking to rehome our 1 year old female calico cat.

We found her on our doorstep a few months ago during a storm, she tried to come into our house, and we couldn’t just leave her out there. We got her all the necessary vet procedures and she is now perfectly healthy. She is also chipped and spayed.

The reason we’re looking to rehome her is that her being in our home is causing immense stress for our other cat and he just stays in the closet all day now, which is not fair to him.

This cat is very kind, gentle, and playful. She loves to explore (ie will jump on a counter every now and then) but we haven’t observed any destructive behavior (aside from the occasional claws in the couch, which is infrequent and mostly trained out of her).

We would prefer to put her directly into a loving home rather than a shelter, which we know are overcrowded. To dissuade any weirdos, we’re asking for a modest $100 rehoming fee (which we will donate to the Broward Humane Society. We’ll even match it).

If you’re interested, please send me a message and let us know why you’d be a good owner for this cat.

If needed, we can also give you a carrier, some of her toys, a cat bed, some food and treats to get started, and some disposable litter boxes to get started.
