Funny to see all the people saying the title is decided when the assumption going into this weekend was that it’s a RB track that will finish Max and Checo 1-2. It didn’t happen in the way we expected (Lewis was actually faster than anticipated), but if the title wasn’t settled before this, it’s not settled now. Just makes the road more difficult for Hamilton.
How many points do you think this realistically costs? Based on his quali pace, I’d say 3 from the sprint, but still think he could podium tomorrow. Maybe ~10? Still not a title decider IMO
If it’s an 18 point swing I’d agree. 37 would mean even a Merc 1-2 at every track would still be a Verstappen win. I’m just scarred by insane Mercedes pace and don’t want to count them out until mathematically eliminated.

People are dumb. No one would cheat with the most visible element of the car that gets tested on every top 10 car after quali.
