The 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix was one of the most hyped races in recent memory. There were so many storylines leading up the grand prix, including Lewis being out, George driving for Lewis, Grosjean almost dying, and a brand new layout at Bahrain. Before FP1 even began, this grand prix was shaping up to be very interesting. The race 100 percent delivered on that promise. Coming into turn 4 on the first lap of the GP, Charles went for a gap unsuccessfully. He took himself and Max out of the race, and left Sergio P18. As the race went on Sergio quietly climbed the order. In the end, with a little help from Mercedes, Sergio took his first ever victory in Formula 1. It looked like this could be the penultimate race for Sergio, but he was now a winner in F1.
My question is that if his victory had not come in a race with so much fanfare on and off the track, would he be sitting next to Max at Red Bull?
