Clark CGC30 LP
Post Body

So we have an old model Clark forklift that is leaking hydraulic fluid out of the (what I believe is) piston seal for the left/right movement of the forks.

It looks pretty straightforward to remove and access the pistons but I just had a couple questions maybe someone here could answer:

Will I be able to replace the seals only, or would it be better to source a new piston/cylinder assembly and just replace the whole thing? If I can replace the seals only, can anyone direct me to where I night find them? Same goes for the whole assembly.

Secondly, upon disconnecting the hydraulic lines to service this part, is there a special air bleeding procedure I should follow or will the pump self bleed after adding the correct amount of fluid?

I've Included some pics of the problem. Any help is much appreciated as we are a small company trying to save a buck. Thanks!
