Alright im just over reacting right now but fuck it Ive got time until beta comes!

Does anyone else think the mod post about beta posts was way over the top and very forboding on how this sub will be run?

The stickied annoucement isnt even open for comment. To me that just seems like our little community will be shaped by them. This wont be an open forum for the game with actions like this being taken.

Im talking about the stickied modpost that reads

"Instead of making multiple threads asking when the beta is. I am making this announcement for you guys.

What we know is that the beta is sometime in January and that is it. With this announcement, we will be removing other threads and future threads asking when the Beta is so as to keep the subreddit clean."

The mod put a stop to the most recently popular shitposts for whatever reason eventhough judging by the karma these were the posts people enjoyed the most. An open community doesnt block content popular to its members.

They said it was about keeping the sub clean when we get around 3 to 5 posts a day; as if someone is going to get lost.

Overall im just saying these early decisions on a young sub are worrying to me there are ways for mods to handle refining content and they should always involve the community input
