I'm looking for a React/Redux developer to help us work through some of our development backlog. You'd be both improving existing functionality and adding new functionality to an existing application.
We have multiple projects ranging anywhere from 10 hours to 50 hours each. We'll start with something small and if we like each other we can give you repeat work and more projects.
Freelance to part time to full time is also possible, however full-time is restricted to US-only.
Requirements:
- You must have experience in and be comfortable with both React and Redux (including async API calls)
- Very strong English language skills, and clear communication about blockers, timeline, and progress (daily updates via email or chat)
- You must be able to work relatively independently -- you will have support in terms of working within our development environment and creation of backend API endpoints you might need, but you must be able to navigate independently around the JS codebase.
- You must be comfortable with SASS/CSS and working off of designs and mockups to a high degree of accuracy
To apply, please PM me the following information:
- Your location / timezone and general availability. Doesn't matter where in the world you are, but you must have some overlap with EST timezone
- Your hourly rate
- A portfolio including sample code demonstrating React, Redux, SASS or CSS, and API calls
- A brief statement about yourself
Looking forward to working together!
Edit: I had a PM mentioning I should make our process more transparent. Since we have budget for many hundreds of hours of work and the possibility for a long term relationship, I run this as an abridged interview process.
- Step one: send me your basics, like your portfolio, github profile, hourly rate
- Step two: we'll do a brief Skype meeting and technical evaluation (30 mins tops, basic technical questions and meet-and-greet), this is also your opportunity to dig into what the working relationship would look like
- Step three: we'll do another Skype session where I give you the full details of the project and get an estimate from you (or we can combine with Step 2)
