Post Body

We all, at some point, make a mistake and hurt someone's feelings. We instinctively say "I'm sorry" and think that's enough. Sometimes it is but sometimes I'm sorry is just not enough. We should take the responsibility to not make the same mistake again, show by our actions that we are truly sorry and we are actively making sure not to repeat the mistake and be humble enough to know that we make mistakes. Knowing and accepting that we make mistakes and we're not always right is a huge step towards receiving forgiveness from the people we have wronged in some way. Society is functioning on such a arrogant and cut throat mentality we sometimes feel like we're right and everyone else is wrong. And even when we know we're wrong we double down and convince ourselves that our opinion is the right way. Not to sound like an old hippie (I'm only 50) but can't we just love and accept each other's faults and work together to be in harmony? I used to be real standoffish and would greet people with a firm handshake. Now I want to smile and give them a hug and say " It's great to meet you". I want to make people feel special. Feel like when they are with me they are special and they matter. If we all did that wouldn't it be so much less stressful? I would like everyone that reads this to go out of their way to say something nice to someone. Really make them feel special. Then come back here and tell everyone how that person reacted and how it made you feel. I really hope everyone does. Sorry for such a long post I just wanted to share my thoughts.
