Ever since i started lurking on these pages and other funny sub reddit i always wondered what if some one pays for a commission (lets say a twitch logo) and the artist wants them to give them credit yet that person paid for the logo. Is that artist entitled to credit or basically a shout out after getting a monetary compensation? i have 2 analogies that i feel fit. when i pay a house decorator to decorate my house i don't have to keep a sign outside with her name on it because i paid her and its my house. On the other hand actors get credited for roles in films even after some of them get paid millions of dollars. Its just a question i came up with that i felt it was interesting. What do you guys think?
