I'm currently a high school junior looking at colleges. I'm from Texas, so I'm obviously considering A&M and SFA. I may not get into A&M is the issue, so I've been looking out of state. A&M is very much up in the air.
My two leading choice/option is West Virginia University. They're affordable (I have to bring the costs down to roughly $22,000-$24,000 via mainly academic scholarships, so it's difficult) and I've heard good things about them. The other school I'm looking into is Iowa State as it's a great agriculture school (not sure about it's natural resources however) and is an accredited program, but I've heard nothing of it other than that.
What do you know of these programs and what other affordable programs can you tell me of?
