I’ve been restoring for about six months now. I’ve gone from a CI2 to a CI3, almost 4. My goal is an 8. I restore five days a week. My daily routine consists of DTR’ing for 8 hours, with a 1 hour break after 4, during which I retain. After that I give myself a couple hours rest. Then in the evenings I do a few hours of weighted tugging. 5 minutes every 45. Before bed I rub everything down with emu oil. During this time I’ve come to find that the best tool during this whole thing is consistency. My current routine is about two months old and I’ve noticed the most progress when sticking to it. It sounds more complicated than it actually is. Not saying that anyone should do what I do, find what’s best for you and stick to it. And as always; if it hurts, stop. Rest, reset, and try again.
