Any current FIU master’s students or alumni willing to share their experience?
I was recently admitted to the master’s of forensic science program at Florida International University, and I’m trying to make a final decision on whether to go here or another college. I’ve had a really hard time getting in touch with the department for some reason, they don’t seem to reply to email, or maybe I’m not asking the right questions.
If it helps, I am generally leaning towards crime scene investigation as a career, but I’m open to most forensic disciplines (my background is in biology). I love FIU on paper, but I have a lot of questions about how the program works (how many semesters do you research, how do you choose a lab, are the classes mostly evening or mostly daytime, etc).
If anyone attended or currently attends FIU’s forensic science master’s program, would you be willing to chat with me? And/or just share your general experience with the program?
