It wasn’t meant to be for me this year. I’ve passed the FSOT twice before in 2014 and 2015. I barely missed the cut at the FSOA stage in 2014 and made it on the register in 2015. Judging by the shadow register, I would have been invited to A100 but had to withdraw for family reasons. In 2015 my EE was my highest score (>57) but this time it was my lowest (39.53) leaving me with a 148.71 total score. I had to rush that section but didn’t think I did that poorly. I was more worried about the new SJ section but that was my best score (>57). There’s disappointment now since I’m finally in the perfect family situation to pursue the FS. However, the journey continues. I’ll be back next year. Can’t stop me that easily from pursuing my dream! Congratulations to everyone who passed and commiserations to those of us who didn’t.
