Post Body

Everything went fairly well had to switch the 2.3 and the 2.9 from the engine stand what a pain in the ass that was.

Only had one head stud strip but had a genius idea (not really) and got my bolt extractor kit hammer it in and wrench it out (no ugga dugga due to the time it was :( couldn’t test my first power tool (judge me all you want new gen 3 m12 stubby 3/8))

2 cylinders has scoring one light and one kinda deep but not total destruction other than that everything seems fine.

I did find 2 pieces of metal after flipping the engine over and removing the cam push cylinder and the oil pan no clue what it might be. Rods felt tight on the crankshaft same for the timing chain and guide/tension. I’m thinking it might be a bearing but I hope not, I guess we’ll see that tomorrow or Friday
