Thinking about purchasing a yellow, 2D 2004 Ford Ranger and trying to determine a fair offer.

• 100,000 miles
  • No major cosmetic on exterior (some very minor rust on the front bumper and paint chips)
  • Headliner needs replacing and interior need a good detailing
  • The exhaust is detached from muffler but looks like a easy fix
  • Steering rack boot needs replacing on driver’s side
  • In desperate need of alignment
  • Transmission feels a little clunky—doesn’t seem to be failing but could maybe use a flush (?). Overall drives well, but feels a little rough.
  • Current owner used spray foam to fix an issue with the back window that needs some TLC. Seems to be holding up well, but it has caused the bed to wrap slightly.
  • Tailgate is very difficult to close due to bed being installed improperly.
  • Tires look good and the AC/Heat works fine.

Is this worth the full $5500 or offer lower. KBB says the value is anywhere from $3600-$5600.
