Hey all, thanks in advance for any help. 2009 Escape with the v6, 167,xxx miles. So the check engine light came on 2 months ago with the misfire code p00305. I checked the easy stuff, gas cap, vacuum lines, ran some seafoam through it, and finally changed the coil pack and plug. As of now the light comes on intermittent after I cleared all codes via both battery cables off, lights on to drain any residual current, and left for 15 minutes. The check engine light stayed off and the Escape felt like it was running fine, It warmed up and I drove it 3 miles, upon stopping the CE light illuminated, then started flashing. but the car did not feel like it was misfiring. I shut it off started it back up and light was off for the 10 minutes it ididled at home. Any suggestions would be great, I am thinking its possibly a short in the CE circuit? That only makes sense because of the randomness it has come on in the past month. Thanks all...
