Programming chip in key (2006).

Post Body

I have one key that works but the top broke so I can't place it on a key ring. I got two blanks and had a locksmith make a couple keys but now I need to program them. The dealership wants way too much money. I see there are programmers I can buy but again it seems really expensive.

Is there a work-around? Can I disable this feature so I can just use the keys normally? Or is there a more affordable way to program these?
