I have a 2018 escape titanium AWD that has always had a random delayed engagement when cold outside from reverse to drive. Not all the time and never when warm. Usually 30 or colder out and when I leave to go to work or come home from work. It'll go into reverse right away but when I go to put it in drive it will take 3 to 4 seconds sometimes. No codes and fluid looked good when I had it changed. Is it just how some of these 6f35 transmissions act? My finances 2012 fusion is really tough shifting for the first 5 minutes but shifts way smoother then my escape after that. Same transmission too which is weird. Her car has been that way since new and my escape has done the delayed engagement since I got it 25k 2 years ago. Just want to make sure I have nothing to be worried about because I want to keep it a long time after it's paid off.
