Hey what’s up everyone. I’ve been a practicing herbalist for almost 3 years now. One thing I’d like to get better at is foraging. I can confidently identify many plants in the wild and ethically harvest while at the same time asking the plant for permission in my surrounding environment but I’d like to be able to confidently identify a lot more plants/mushrooms etc outside of my environment as well because I feel I eventually may take a road trip. There are some plants in which I’ve really studied there medicine and wholeness as best as I’ve been able to so far but haven’t come across them at the same time. I don’t want to miss there presence if I stumble upon them and understand a lot of plants have look alikes. Would books be a good place to start to expand my knowledge in this realm or just research online. I do know that a lot of foraging guides and books have poor pictures so any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks
