Are these huckleberries? If so, what kind?

My brother and I found these while out night fishing, and o thought they looked a lot like huckleberries, so I tried one and they tasted the same. I spit it out though because I wasn’t sure, because the leaves look different than the usual kind we pick. We’re about 50 miles away from the western Yellowstone border, if that helps with any sort of location :)
