Tips for getting into coaching
Post Body

I miss and love the game i in fortunately never played in college due to my own traumatic experience despite being heavily encouraged to. Looking back I would have definitely excelled.

I DIGRESS. The fact I never played college made me feel as though i'm unqualified to coach. the reality is i know the CB position better than most anyone i know having been trained by my CB father (who did play collegiate) since age 11.

I was an excellent corner, fast and had good fundamentals, although i relied on my speed because i was lazy sometimes, and talented always. I had games where i had 3 passes thrown my side often and they picked on the right side, not to brag. This was in California WCAL and I did start ALWAYS. Serra High School where Tom Brady attended is just one place i started on defense.

With my history even though i was talented and I genuinely enjoy breaking down all 22 NFL footage, it sounds silly to ask, but am I qualified to coach DB's? who and where? i want to coordinate defense someday but where would I even start. I really do feel like i should have at least played college to tell people how to play. I was assuming coaching kids would be the best start?
