Two Takeovers Within Starting Season ?

So im one season in, in my FM18 NUFC save, and just before christmas I got taken over, all went well, nice but smallish budget etc, then at the start of May, within maybe 10 in game days, another Takeover came out of nowhere, and was completed super fast, and Im up for being replaced it seems.
::Update:: I've now been sacked, despite finishing 14th, and only needing to avoid relegation.
Anyone else had two takeovers so close together ?
