Hear me outā€¦ I know people donā€™t like looking at CA and PA but surely in the real world, we have access to this information for most players in the top 5 leagues and some other leagues that produce talent too? Granted, no one in the real world will be able to find wonderkid in the 3rd tier of a random European country so that might be slightly unrealistic.

My reasoning is that in the real world, there will always be fifa and football manager who will always give potential abilities every single year forever and this will only become more accurate or better as time goes one.

My question is, is it really unrealistic to be able to see CA and PA? I know it takes away the whole idea of scouting but donā€™t scouts also use football manager?

Yes I know anyone can play it however they want, but Iā€™m guessing most want it to be as ā€œrealisticā€ as possible.

Please donā€™t bite my head off Iā€™m genuinely interested what others have to say about this.
