I see a lot of posts that talk about joining one club with one objective and once that’s achieved they feel satisfied and then will start a new save. Not find a new club, like start a brand new save set back to the starting year for whatever version they’re on. Not going to knock anyone for the way they want to play but it’s so different than what I enjoy about the game.
I like doing long saves, as in, making my manager the youngest age possible at the start so I have the most amount of time available for the career. I want to be the No.1 manager in the country’s specific hall of fame if I’m managing in a country. I want to achieve club legend status and leave a legacy where that club will eventually name a newly constructed stadium after me when I’m managing elsewhere. I love the immersion of seeing my top newgen players that I’ve developed become global stars of the game for me or elsewhere and to win everything, everywhere, that is available to my club.
Honestly past the first few seasons if I can help it I don’t even like having IRL players at my club, like I’ll keep a few if I know it’s going to take 10 years for me to grind to be the no.1 manager in that country’s HoF (like England) and they’ll be club legends with more than a decade playing for me, but that’s rare.
