I got a letter saying that my food stamps will be terminated at the end of January.

"Your income exceeds the income limit for this program".

My self-employed income has consistently dropped since the beginning of the pandemic. I'm not sure why they listed this as a reason.

It was my understanding that I wasn't to recertify until March 2022 (my stamps started in October or November '21, I believe)... So failure to recertify couldn't be the reason... Could it?

If income is really the reason, where do they even get that info? Could they have mixed me up with someone else?

I'm going to call tomorrow in addition to filing an appeal. I'm just curious about what's going on here.
