Question about eligibility in TN

I'm a single male with no dependents. I own a home with mortgage and utilities that add up to about 700 a month. I don't have a job and I'm currently enrolled in a diploma program at a government run college. Is there an asset limit in TN? If my name is on a joint account(to manage elderly relative finances, they do not live with me), will that count towards my assets?
