I’ve got a frozen half shoulder of lamb in the freezer, been in there since 22 may when I got it reduced as the 22 may was the use by date.
The last time I froze lamb for a length of time like this I left it to defrost on a plate in the window and when it was defrosted I cooked it and it tasted disgusting, I couldn’t eat it. (It was on the windowsill for about 12 hours and when I cooked it it was still a tiny bit frozen in the middle)
I am wanting to cook it this coming Sunday, what’s the best way to defrost it so I don’t have a repeat of last time?
Thanks
