Hello! I’ve been with the company going on two years as a PT in the Deli/Bakery. I would say that I do indeed bust my ass off more than even our FT people do. I oversee our ISP items and am always on top of that, I help with frying most of them, I always am helping with preslice and usually even unload our truck to put sidewall away. It is a lot to do when also waiting on customers. It gets annoying when other coworkers get paid to just stand around. Also, It is so exhausting always making sure to keep our tablets at 100% to make sure everything is done and I don’t receive l any recognition. I am very pleased at making over $18 an hour and getting almost 40 hrs a week but I just wanna know if I am capable of applying for Assist Deli manager or something .. I would love a FT position for the extra vacation time/benefits but I don’t think our store is allowed anymore as we have like 6 full time employees right now in our department. Someone give me some advice or guide me please and thanks in advance:)
