I tried to post the recipe but it got filtered!
This is from SheelCooks on Instagram, where they list the recipe (I was not able to link it) as the following:
Pack of Puff Pastry/Homemade Puff Pastry of Choice 2 Royal Gala Apples, diced small 1/4 C Light Brown Sugar Juice of 1 Lemon Pinch of Salt 1.5 tsp Cinnamon 20g unsalted butter Cinnamon Sugar (mixed granulated sugar and cinnamon 1 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp water 1 beaten egg for wash
Oven to 200 degrees. Add butter, sugars, salt, apples, cinnamon and lemon juice to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer until apples are soft. Add cornstarch mix. Mix to thicken and then cool. Construct pies, egg wash and sprinkle on sugar cinnamon mix. Bake for 18 minutes until golden brown.
